790 is the address, in New Braunfels. The doctor’s office is at the end is the road, at the end of the parking lot, the last office, in the last building, in the row…so symbolically dreadful…until you walk through that door!
I have to start at the front desk. Patients are greeted with smiles that say hello, we know you don’t want to be here, but whatever is going on with you, we want you to know we will care for you like you were our family.
When escorted back into the exam room section the medical aide is also smiling and welcoming Their professionalism is quietly understated as the staff back there works helping patients in person and on the phone.
It is a very pleasant experience to be in the presence of all those demonstrably caring individuals.
Then, there is Dr. Shetty, himself. Here stands a man with all the knowledge in the world about lungs and could arrogantly tell his patients what their going to do based upon his knowledge and experience. But, no, he doesn’t do that.
He educates his patients so they can make an informed decision in the care path they choose to have the good doctor take them on. He has a demeanor that is gentle in a good-humored way that sets his patients at ease, at once.
I am confident that what ever the path a patient has to take, Dr. Shetty and his staff are right behind God holding the patient’s best interests in hand to ensure they deliver the best care and treatment possible.
I am so grateful for Dr. Shetty and his staff. May God bless them and their families and all the patients who walk in that door, at the end is the road, at the end of the parking lot, the last office, in the last building, in the row…so symbolically dreadful…until you walk through that door!
